NOTICE: our Farm Shop is in recess for the summer months.
The Farm Shop is held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the second and fourth Sundays each month.
The Farm Shop is an opportunity to visit Ayton Farm where you can buy our pastured chickens and eggs. Enjoy a relaxing cup of tea or coffee on our deck, (cost is gold coin donation) with views to majestic Mount Maroon and have a chat with the farmers!

Drive through the farm gate at the "Johnson Road / No Through Road" sign off Boonah - Rathdowney Road.

The next Ayton Farm walk-around is likely to be next May (in cooler weather), unless an earlier date is notified on facebook or in our newsletter.
WHEN IT IS SCHEDULED, THE DETAILS WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
Ayton Farm invites you to visit a working farm and see for yourself how chemical-free, GMO free, pastured chickens and eggs are produced!
Included:
- Farm walk-around
- Tour of egg handling facilities
- Free tastings
- Locally sourced and homemade products available for sale
- Gold coin donation for tea & coffee

Drive through the farm gate at the "Johnson Road / No Through Road" sign off Boonah - Rathdowney Road.
Follow "Parking" signs/bali flags.
Want to know more about the tour?
You will visit the chicken brooders - protected environments where chicks spend the first 2-3 weeks of their lives.
You'll also visit the pastured laying hens where you'll be able to interact with our friendly hens and see the chicken caravan egg-collection in action.
Nearby is the broiler pasture, where you'll learn about the process of raising clean, healthy meat.
Back near the house is the egg handling facility, where you’ll see how eggs are prepared and sorted for sale.
We'll return to the Farm Shop and you can enjoy free tastings of Ayton Farm produce, and purchase your own chicken, eggs, and other locally-sourced products. Gold coin donation for tea and coffee.
- Please bring a hat and sunscreen.
- Participants must wear covered footwear and are required to sign an indemnity waiver.
